Go-to-market leadership

Strategy, execution,
and all the work in between.

Senior go-to-market strategy and execution for construction tech, proptech, and B2B startups. Marketing, sales, and operations — we get in the room, do the work, and stay in it with you.

Why MarketLoft

Built different,
on purpose.

01
Small by design.

We cap our roster to 10 active clients to protect service quality. Existing clients have the right to approve any new clients that might overlap in product areas. That means we're invested in your success, not chasing the next dollar.

02
Construction tech expertise.

15+ years combined experience in construction technology across Autodesk, Pype, and ConCntric. We know the buyers, the sales cycles, the trade shows, and the competitive dynamics before day one.

03
Built to last.

We build the strategy, systems, and documentation that keep your GTM function running — and we stay in it with you. Whether you're building from scratch or scaling what's already working, everything we do is documented, intentional, and yours.

Services

The full GTM function, minus the headcount.

We work across marketing, sales, and operations — whatever the business needs, wherever the gaps are. Every engagement is built around your situation, not a preset package.

GTM Strategy & Leadership +

The strategic layer most early-stage companies are missing. We own go-to-market strategy end-to-end — from positioning and ICP development to demand generation, executive alignment, and team direction. This isn't a strategy deck handed off and forgotten. We stay in it.

Positioning and messaging strategy
ICP development and prioritization
Demand generation strategy and oversight
Marketing roadmap development
Executive and board-level alignment
Direction of internal teams, vendors, and agencies
Sales Process & Enablement +

Sales and marketing only work when they're running from the same playbook. We build the process, structure, and tools that make your sales motion repeatable — and make sure marketing is actually feeding it.

Sales process audit and redesign
BDR/SDR workflow development
Outbound script and parameter development
Sales enablement playbooks
Marketing-to-sales handoff process
Pipeline reporting and funnel analysis
Content, Inbound & Design +

Content that builds pipeline, not just traffic. We develop the strategy, build the architecture, and execute — or direct execution — across formats. Design lives here too, making sure the brand shows up as sharp as the strategy behind it.

Inbound strategy and content architecture
Thought leadership and editorial planning
Newsletter and social strategy
Campaign content and copywriting
Brand identity and graphic design
Sales collateral and presentation design
Revenue Operations +

The infrastructure that ties marketing and sales together. We build the reporting, analytics, and operational systems that give leadership a clear picture of what's working and where the gaps are.

Marketing ops and automation setup
CRM structure and hygiene
Revenue reporting and dashboard development
Sales and marketing analytics
Tooling audit and recommendations
Lead routing and lifecycle management
Field Marketing & Events +

In construction tech, trade shows and field events aren't optional — they're where relationships get built and deals get moved. We plan, manage, and execute field and event marketing that actually connects to pipeline.

Trade show strategy and management
Sponsored and hosted event planning
Event content and collateral
Pre- and post-event outreach sequences
Field marketing calendar and budget planning
GTM Planning & Workshops +

Structured, facilitated sessions with a real deliverable at the end. Whether you need a full integrated GTM plan for the year or a focused session on messaging or competitive positioning — we know what conversations need to happen and how to get a coherent plan on paper.

Annual and biannual integrated GTM planning
Marketing roadmap development
Integrated go-to-market plan development
Messaging workshop
Competitive differentiator workshop

How we work: Retainer engagements are the primary way we work — they're how we stay close enough to the business to actually move the needle. For companies that need a specific output or aren't ready for ongoing engagement, select workshops and planning sessions are available as standalone engagements.

Retainer Engagements

Senior GTM leadership
that scales with you.

Every engagement is custom — built around where you are, what you need, and how fast you want to move. These tiers give you a sense of what working together looks like. Not sure which fits? We'll figure it out on the call.

Get started

Not every company needs the same thing. Some clients come to us with nothing. Some have a solo marketer who's stretched thin. Some have a team and just need senior leadership at the top. We scope every engagement around your actual situation — these tiers are a starting point, not a ceiling or a floor.

The MarketLoft difference

Your next marketing hire should hit the ground running — not play detective.

We build the strategy, systems, and documentation that keep your GTM function running — whether that's alongside your existing team, in support of a solo marketer who needs senior direction, or as the function itself while you're still growing. Everything we build is documented, intentional, and yours. That's not consulting — that's a partnership.

Small by design.
Expert by necessity.

Common Questions

What you need to know.

What is go-to-market (GTM) strategy?

Go-to-market strategy is the plan that connects your product to your market — who you're selling to, how you're reaching them, and how marketing and sales work together to drive growth. It's not just a marketing plan. A real GTM strategy spans positioning, demand generation, sales process, enablement, and operations. That's the work MarketLoft does.

What kinds of companies do you work with, and what industries do you specialize in?

Construction tech, proptech, and B2B SaaS companies at the seed through Series B stage are our primary focus. Our team has 15+ years of combined experience in construction tech across Autodesk, Pype, and ConCntric — which means we already know the buyers, the sales cycles, the trade shows, and the competitive dynamics before day one. We're not learning your industry on your dime. We also work with early-stage B2B SaaS companies outside of construction tech — our GTM frameworks, ICP development, and sales enablement capabilities apply broadly at the seed through Series B stage. In all cases, we work with founders and leadership teams who need senior GTM expertise without the overhead of a full-time executive hire.

How is MarketLoft different from a traditional marketing agency?

Most agencies execute what you tell them to. MarketLoft operates at the strategic layer — we help you figure out what to do and why, then we execute it or direct the execution. We're not a vendor you manage. We function as part of your leadership team, owning GTM strategy across marketing, sales, and operations. The other difference: we cap our roster at 10 active clients. You're never one of hundreds.

What's the difference between a retainer and a standalone engagement?

Retainers are the primary way we work — and for good reason. GTM strategy isn't a one-time project. It evolves as your market shifts, your product develops, and your team grows. A retainer keeps us close enough to the business to actually move the needle over time. That said, we offer standalone workshops and planning sessions for companies that need a specific output or aren't ready for an ongoing engagement. If you're not sure which fits, tell us about your situation and we'll be straight with you.

What does a retainer engagement actually look like day-to-day?

Depends on the tier, but in general: strategy calls, async Slack communication, direct ownership of deliverables, standup attendance, and executive alignment. We operate as a genuine member of your leadership team — not an outside consultant who shows up monthly with a slide deck. We're in it with you, not reporting to you from a distance.

Do we need to have marketing in place already to work with you?

No — and that's intentional. Some clients come to us with nothing and need everything built from scratch. Some have a solo marketer who's stretched thin and needs senior direction. Some have a team in place and just need experienced leadership at the top. We scope every engagement around where you actually are, not where we wish you were. Wherever you're starting from, we start there too.

How much does it cost?

It depends — and that's intentional. Every engagement is scoped around where your business is and what you actually need, so pricing is customized to match. We're not going to quote you a number before we understand your situation. For a general sense of what retainer engagements look like, check out our pricing section — but treat it as a starting point, not a ceiling or a floor. We'll figure out what makes sense on the call.

What if I need help outside of what my retainer is focused on?

Retainers are flexible by design. If you're in a marketing-focused engagement and a sales process challenge comes up — or you need a month of focus on sales enablement to hit a specific goal — we don't spin up a whole new contract. We evaluate what's needed against your current engagement and figure out the best way to address it. Sometimes that means shifting focus for a month. Sometimes it means a small add-on. We'd rather adapt to what the business actually needs than lock you into a rigid scope that doesn't serve you. That's the point of working with a team that covers the full GTM function.

How It Works

From first call to full speed.

We keep the process simple. No lengthy RFP cycles, no back-and-forth for weeks. Here's what working with us looks like from day one.

Step 01
Discovery Call

Free, no-pressure 30-minute conversation. We learn about your company, goals, and challenges. You learn how we work. No commitment required.

Step 02
Proposal

Within 48 hours, you'll receive a clear proposal — recommended package or retainer tier, scope of work, timeline, and pricing. No fluff, no surprise line items.

Step 03
Contract & Kickoff

We sign a straightforward contract, set up your Slack channel and shared workspace, and schedule your kickoff call. Everything is async-friendly from day one.

Step 04
We Get to Work

No ramp time, no learning curve. We move fast, communicate clearly, and start delivering value in week one. From day one, you'll feel the difference of working with a team that's already up to speed.

A note on communication: We work via async Slack — it's how we stay in sync without meetings eating everyone's day. We're responsive and communicative, but we're not on-call 24/7. Expect thoughtful replies, not instant ones.

Work with us

We're selective.
That's the point.

We cap our client roster to protect service quality. When we're at capacity, qualified companies go on our waitlist. Tell us about your situation — we'll let you know where you stand.
